Phyllis later completed her Master of Science in Educational Administration and Supervision at the University of Dayton.  Additionally, she completed the Harvard University Graduate Educational Leadership Institute.  She is an author and has published 7 children’s books (Ashley’s Journey: Who Am I, What Can I Be, How Do I Get There, Navigating High School, Going to College, Why Am I Angry? and Sisters).
